    Where will the event be held?

    This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

    Who can attend?

    Students, their parents/guardians, and educators can attend Innovation Celebration.

    Do I need to register to attend the Innovation Celebration Conference?

    Yes, you will need to register to access this live virtual event.

    What if I want to attend two sessions at the same time?

    All sessions will be recorded so you will be able to attend one of the sessions live and watch other sessions at a later time. Questions will only be able to be answered in the live sessions so if you plan to ask questions in a session, you should plan to attend that one live during the scheduled time.

    Will the Innovation Celebration event work on my laptop or chromebook and browser?

    The event is powered by vFairs and is friendly across browsers. It is accessible on both laptops and chromebooks. If you have any problems, the vFairs tech crew is ready to assist you by EMAIL. You can also attend the INFO DESK at the event to get assistance.

    Do I need to use my school email address?

    Yes, all students and educators should use their board email.

    Why should I attend?

    This event is a great opportunity for you to explore many different post-secondary pathways and career options, as well as attend some interesting and informative workshops about a variety of topics related to careers and future opportunities. There is something for everyone at this conference!

    When can I access the recordings of the presentations?

    Recordings will be made available shortly after the event and will be found on the OCDSB website.

    How can I communicate with representatives in the booths or share my resume with them?

    You will be able to ask questions through the chat function at the exhibitor booths. Don’t be shy - the representatives are excited to answer your questions! If you wish to share your resume, please do not share it through the public chat for privacy reasons. The representatives in the booth will provide an email address for you to send your resume.

    Will I be able to take away any documents from the event?

    Yes. Like any physical event, we will have a Swag Bag for you! You can add all of the documents available to the online Swag Bag in your account and then email them to yourself or share items with friends by simply entering their email.

    Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event?

    NO. You do not need to download or install any software to participate in our conference. You only need to have access to the Internet.
